Another one of the things my mother owned I believe is classed as silver back. I remember her having it in the 70's if she had it before I could not say. It is not something I wear just nice to own. One day all will be sold as I do not have anyone to pass these things on to.
I have been so lucky that so many people love my items.
Beautiful and what great memories of your Mom wearing it :-) I have somme of my Moms jewlery but have never worn it . It is hard for me . I do take it out and look at it though and remember her beautiful smile and hope you do the same :-) Priceless !
Good morning Manikin & everyone else for that matter. Anyway Manikin I do not wear any of the jewellery either, I do not mind lending it to really good friends if they have special occasions & want to wear or are going to fancy dress party's were they are dressing for that era. So I'm just happy other people get the pleasure of there use, I have worn the odd piece but really rarely.
