Found these two neat planters today as well. One is a large deco style 8" tall double-sided scallop shell and the other is an 8" goblet with a weird "bump" design on both sides. The goblet is marked "USA" under the cup portion. The shell has no mark just an unglazed bottom. The numbers are probably not helpful. Just one old price mark and maybe a stock number or date. The type of bottoms they have should be a clue to their identity. Need to do some research. -Mike-
American Bisque has triangle feet like this one. Check them out.
Chic pottery has similar feet, forgot about them. They use a lot of gold.
Yep, I was pretty sure the goblet was "American Bisque" with the "wedge foot" and The shell brings us back to our old friend "Purinton" or maybe "Dryden". If it were glazed like my swan I'd say "Shawnee". You see a lot of unglazed center seam pieces. They have to come from somewhere...lol I refer to the info on the "Cajun Collection" site when I need help. -Mike-
