Art Ross Game Used Hockey Puck Pittsburgh Hornets

This puck was given to me by my grandmother. Her and my grandfather, which at the time were dating, went to a Pittsburgh Hornets game on March 1, 1949. During the game, this puck was hit into the stands and hit my grandfather in the leg. He kept the puck and put a note with it that had the score and date of the game. He went home with a great souvenir and got to see a good game too, the Hornets beat Cleveland 8 - 0. For this being a game used puck it is in great shape. I have seen others that are scratched and chipped up, this one has one small cut on the side and a few light scratches. This is my oldest sports collectible and by far one of my favorites.
