This is a darling miniature knife with everything as it should be if it were regular size. The little blade comes out and is sharp sharp sharp. The knife has a brass and wood handle and a steel blade - there are no marks that I can find. It would just look like any old pocket knife except for the scale - it is less than an inch long when closed!! It is possible that it is a little piece of trench art, as it is quite primitive. But I am not sure and I have not seen anything like this before.

I would use it for a pocket watch fob. Love it!

Thanks for the comment Dave - I also thought it was cute enough to be a pocket watch fob, esp for a WWI era pocket watch, and I am pretty sure it is trench art but no marks of any kind on it. The wood really looks like a piece of rifle stock, and the carbon steel and brass is if course standard trench art material. It is definitely hand-made without the aid of any machining tools. I plan to eventually send it to our shop so let me know if you are interested in it via our email (website), esp if you have a wonderful WWI era pocket watch where it could find a home!.
