Circa 1852 open face cast iron stove, there is an emblem at the center top
(M V) with a Victorian swirls on each side of the emblem and a pattern below. It has a decorative columns framing the open hearth and classic line on the inside walls.
I think this may be a similar stove...

What is the condition of this stove?
Looks just like the picture, very good condition.
I have this exact stove, minus the paint. have you found anything on it. I think it is from VIRGINIA METALWORKS but that's all I have been able to find out.
HOLY SMOKES!!!! Thanks for the info. :)
Hi soccerstiger,
I recently acquired a stove just like this one but can't find any info about it. Anything you can tell me would be much appreciated. Is it a Virginia Metalworks?
Thanks very much!
