The story goes...This lamp was a wedding present for my Great Great Grandmother. I am 50 years old and this has been in my Grandmothers home ever since I can remember. Now this lamp is mine. Any insight on this beautiful lamp would be appreciated.
Absolutely beautiful. Hope you enjoy it!! I am no expert by any means. And I am sure someone else will know much more than I. But I believe it is slag glass and you can find out more on ebay. They may have one similar if not the same. Wish I knew more because it is one gorgeous lamp.
Beautiful ! Look at base and also on underside of glass shade on metal for a makers name . I have a few similar and mine are from 1920's . I still use them but always use a low watt bulb . I learned hard way to high can cause glass to crack . Keep bulb under 60 preferably 40 watt . Stunning colors in yours and the glass is bent or curved which was more expensive to make and very expensive to replace vs the one's that have flat panes of Stained Glass . It is called a "Stained Glass Lamp" Love it
very nice lamp : ) other search terms that might help are: arts and crafts reticulated slag glass lamp
Looks like a Bradley & Hubbard...Should be makers mark under shade by switch
99 percent sure it is a Bradley & Hubbard...1500.00 on a good day.
