This glove is Rogers Hornsby. No one has ever beaten his batting average of 424 in 1924. He is the only member of the 40-400 club.
He is the only player to win National League Triple twice. Can some
one Help me identifiy the value. I have info but not enought to value it.
Also what should it be stored in, its in a clear plastic bag. What can we use to see all the writing. Thanks People.

Rub it down good inside and out with Vasoline. Yes...Vasoline is used widely by high end glove collectors to bring out the stamping, soften, and preserve gloves. If the lining is smooth and free of holes, this could easily bring $250-$300. it dates to the 30s. Very nice piece.
