Another old fiddle followed me home today. Right place, right time and I picked up this Andreas Morelli Strad copy.
Made in the 1920's by Karl Hermann under the Morelli name the compny is noted for fine instruments. Shows normal wear but I am happy to have saved it and will get it playable and back in the hands of someone who will give it the love it deserves.
If you remember the 1891 fiddle I posted some time ago, it went to a budding fiddler in Canada just a few weeks ago. She stopped by on her way to Texas and played it and bought it.
Already have a tail piece ordered for this one!
