hi cw...I picked up this little hand carved bird with flowers the other day....it measures around 6 inches tall and weighs 530 grams....I wasn't sure what kind of stone this is but with some key words I was able to find some information on the internet.....it is orange and at first I thought it might be coral but it also has a bit of brown and some white....there was no stamp or seal ....thanks for looking and I welcome any comments or info about my newest find...love this site!

thank you for your kind comment...I am always looking for something different...I think the bird might be a love bird or budgie...not quite sure...I do enjoy looking at it...it has got some fine detailed carving and I am amazed that someone has the skill and talent to carve with such a fine detail...I could never have the patience it must take to make one...with luck I will find another...once again thank you for your kind comment...love this site!
