    Hi,

I bought this duck decoy at a local estate, together with another one.

No maker's name that I can see....
Has some age cracks, nicely carved (beak is curvy) and has a thing on the bottom for the weight.............

Is this a real decoy or just a decorative piece???
    Thanks,

    Nessa

Nessa: Nice decoy, most decorative pieces do not have a weight attachment on the bottom and this one does based on that and the little kill on the bottom, I would say that this is or was used as a decoy. The style has not changed to much in the making of a command decoy and it is a very nice piece, thank for posting Hardbrake
