I grabbed these at an estate sale because I thought they had a pretty cool design and might make for some fun decor around the house. Plus I like to grab things that I don't know about so I can look them up and learn something....
Anyways, I cannot find anything out about these. Before I do something with them it is going to drive me nuts if I don't know what they actually are. Could someone possibly let me know what these are, their use, and possibly their age? They were sitting next to some other old cowboy type of things which I should have grabbed too. I really appreciate it any help in learning what these are. Thanks!
7 3/4" long, 4 1/2" wide. Made of Cast Iron. Leather on one of them, probably original to the piece as it is super brittle, hard, and dried up.
I don't think these are stirrups. The mfg. mark is from the International Harvester Company. They are still producing farm equipment. I agree with you that these have a great look. Good luck with your research.
There is one one eBay under " international harvester foot pedal part"
Hope this helps
