Hello friends. I recently acquired this beautiful iridescent vase, and it came from the same source as the "Early Tiffany gourd vase?" that was posted by kcomfort earlier today. This was also sold to me as early Tiffany, and I have the utmost confidence that that is exactly what it is. This is because I listen to the experts here on CW (of which Mr. T is certainly one) and I know that attributions elsewhere on the web aren't always to be trusted. Therefore I must respectively say to kcomfort that when FWF (aka Loetzbuddies) says his vase is NOT Trevaise he should listen to him, and that using attributions from liveauctioneers as proof is probably not the most reliable source, and certainly is not proof of anything.

I was offered the early Tiffany gourd vase before kcomfort's friend (?) and the only reason I did not purchase it was because I didn't have the available funds. I did get in my opinion the superior vase, and it is everything I expected it to be (and then some). So thank you again Mr. T for this incredibly exquisite example of early American Art Glass. Yes "attributed" to LCT, but by the best in the business (he had some help). That counts for a lot in my book, and I stand by my friends' word.

    Enjoy!

dasullywon : you made good choices : the wonderful Loetz and this wonderful Tiffany. I would be proud to own either one.
