This is a lovely dark Brown (Cherry) bakelite necklace with graduating oval beads from the Art Deco era. The beads have tested positive for bakelite using simichrome polish where the colour comes up a yellow Brown. The largest bead is approx 28mm x 22mm and the smallest approx 14mm x 9mm. The length is approx 470 mm in total including the screw catch. The weight is 51g. The condition of the beads is good vintage.
So all is clear about this necklace but please help me to appoint the right color name in English. Is it dark Brown or Cherry or another still better name????
