I saw these signs and thought it would go good with my other score board I got about a year ago (seen in pic 4). I was told these signs were made in the 1940's and not much else about them. I'm unsure if the stand is original to these signs, but it does appear to be very old and these signs look like they have been mounted to the stand for some time. Take alook at pic 3 and look at the hardware, it looks old to me what do you guys think? I was wondering if the sign and stand are both from the 1940's, just the signs or if any piece is from the 1940's? Im thinking the signs are from the 1940's only because they look so similar to my other scoreboard which has the trademark in the tail of the first C. Anyways let me know what you guys think, thanks in advance and I look forward to your comments.

I gotta believe those the signs are original to the piece. What a great, unique old Coca-Cola sign, Trev. Your turning it up a notch right there. Sweet menu- chalkboard-street sign! Trifecta!!!!

Late 30's early 40's. Sign is a menu board, but put onto "homemade" frame to display on sidewalk. Very cool and hard to find piece.

While I have seen the menu board before, I have not seen the "skip" one before.

Thanks Dave & Blaine! I got a couple more questions now if you don't mind answering when ever your not busy, Blaine or anyone that may know. Do you think the home made frame was made during the 1940's? Do you think this sign was made during WW2 and thats why they used masonite instead of the usual tin menu boards. And my last question, it sounds like its hard to find one of this menu board, and I manage to find two, could you please let me know what you have seen one go for or what both are mine are worth? Just curious :)

Yep. Trever you hit it on the head. Both frame and sign are from the war era, thats why they are masonite. Condition isnt perfect, but I can see it going at auction in the 750 range.

Really!!! Are you serious Blaine?!!? I hope your not joking, but I didnt pay close to that anyways, very very very very very happy to hear how I did on this pick. I really only got this sign as an impulse buy, because it reminded me of my other score board. Im sooooo glad im the proud owner of these signs now, thanks thanks thanks for the info Blaine.
