my first post ever.......wooooooohoooooooo!. i found this matchbook box / cover at a Central Texas Flea Market. The box is marked as follows: (first photo) BI with logo - reddish orange background; (2nd photo) Braniff International - black background: (3rd photo) the strike plate - cracked vertically across plate. i would like to know the year this design would have been produced. i can only find one or two flat covers ........ nothing on the box. oh yeah, the box contains 10 match sticks. thank you for any information you're willing to divulge. happy antiquing!

There use to be a Braniff Airlines in the 1980's, it didn't stay in buisness long. Maybe this has something to do with that, not sure though.
