    Found this awesome spearhead on shoreline at the lake while fishing. Couldnt believe my eyes it was last place ya would think to search. 3 3/8"

      Is it flint & show good flaking? can't really tell from the pic..

      Hard to tell if it is flint from pic you can strike it against another piece and see if it sparks , but then you take the chance of ruining the arrowhead in the lower right hand corner it looks like flint but cannot say for sure need more pics.

      It is flint was laying right next to the waterline of the lake. Lake was up 15 feet so this may been under mud for who knows how long. Occonechee Indians where in the area lake was built. I have 100s of arrowheads and all but 5 are flint the others are quartz.love findin these,fun cheap hobby

      I know the feeling. Get it with antique guns & some other antiques. Hard to explain. Kind of like a jolt of nostalgia & imagination. So I'm not the only nut case.
