These pics show some of the Marklin accessories. One of two cranes that operate electrically with push button switches (from the 1960's). There is a magnet that pics up metal to load and unload freight cars. The magnet is activated electrically.

Pic #2 shows a crane from the 1940's. Handles both work to raise and lower the boom. The freight cars are quite old.

Pic #3 shows another type of crane, same era. Also a pedestrian overpass with train signals mounted on top. These are hard to find in this condition.

Pic #4! I received much help with historical facts about this particular red steam locomotive from Mr Bauer of Germany. Mr. Bauer is an expert in trains and many other collectibles. The following information Provided by Mr. Bauer about this red steam engine will satisfy those interested in it's history.
" This red streamlined steam locomotive is of the Class 05 and were standard express locomotive of the German Railways. The locomotive 05 002 in 1936 to set a world speed record for rail vehicles of 200.4 km / h and remains so to this day, the fastest German steam locomotive.
1931 continued the Rail Zeppelin set a world record for rail vehicles. This also gave impetus to the development of faster steam locomotives. The railroad announced in late January 1932 with the companies of the locomotive industry, that they would procure a steam-h3 2'C2' who move to the level of 250 tons at 150 km / h and reach a top speed of 175 km / h from the insertion of delays can. initially provided for a streamlined locomotive disguised with 25 atm pressure boiler. The steam locomotive was intended to test new coaches, but also be used for FD trains. It should either be derived from the unit steam locomotives, on the other hand were technical changes such as the cab at the front of the locomotive considered. First quick trip attempts have been made with the 03 154, which had covered the supplier Borsig partially streamlined. After the end of the trips, the firm Borsig in 1935 first prepared the two machines with the series numbers 05 001 and 002. The modified 05 003 with a front cab and pulverized coal combustion was only two years later. For the construction of engineering Adolf Wolff was responsible.
The streamlining of the first two in 2005 it completely enclosed, and handed to a few inches above the rail level down. The engine was available on blinds. The red paint was chosen for visual emphasis".

I posted a real photo of this steam engine on a separate page.
