1960's Delta Light - Restored - Schwinn

I purchased the Delta Headlight as is, to really 'complete' the 1961 Bicycle. The headlight worked, but it was crooked, dented, and the switch was severed.

It was almost impossible to find a matching blue light.. The more I researched it, it seemed the white and chrome were the only colours available.

I took the light completely apart - taped off the parts I didn't want ruined - sandblasted and began straightening and removing dents.

I had the paint matched to "spitfire blue" and the choice was obvious to paint it accordingly. Primer, paint, paint, and 2 clearcoats...

Reassembled and I chose to 'pin' a new switch to the old one - however, I could have replicated a new one..
Batteries included! - this buxom light is a Double D.
