Hello, is there somebody out there who can help me to identify this copper bangle? It has two names engraved in the left corner.I think the last name is "Dewitt" ? The first name is very difficult to read. I bought this piece of jewelry in a Thrift Store . I really do appreciate your help. Thank you very much in advance.

Love the horses. It reminds me of my print of "The Pharaoh's Horses."

Do the gems in there look like they might have been put on later? To me it doesn't look like they belong there

Dear Vestaswind. Thank you for looking at my bangle. I think, that you are right , the rhinestones have been added later and that they don't belong there at all. Thank
      you for your time. Regards,Elke.

This looks like a studio piece to me. Warman's has a section in it jewelry book that has some name of people who worked in Chicago and New York. It looks as though they used different findings to make up the bracelet, I have and Unger Bros pin that looks just like your horses, but the bracelet itself looks hand made. It looks like it was made in the sixties. I remember buying quite a few hand made piece, a different craft shows or in the Village in New York. This one is expectantly nice because it most of the jewelry was usually silver.
