My wife picked this ring up in Florida 6 years ago at a seaside Antique shop. It was in a pile of blackened Silver rings that the dealer had just acquired. This ring was as dirty as the others so I guess he hadn't checked them closely. It has four diamonds on each side of the stone, is stamped 18K and has a large central Opal that we were told could be a black opal.
After seeing all the beautiful Opal Jewelry that CW members have uploaded, it is only natural that I should ask our experts about this ring. Any help will be truly appreciated...RER(LOUMANAL)
Thank you vetraio50 for that wonderful link. I suppose that this ring would be classified as a Peacock Harlequin Black Opal. It is quite large at 18 x 13 mms. Thank you also Manikin, mustangtony, AmberRose, BELLIN68, kerry10456, PhilDavidAlexanderMorris, Moonstonelover21 and nldionne for the Love!. RER (BOB)
Well I think it is a real beauty!
Might be a Floral Harlequin?
