Small Brass Lamp with Coin Spot

This little lamp is 9" tall as is. I was drawn by the glass pattern. I called it coin spot but I don't know if that is really what it should be called. The color white seems to float in the clear glass, which has many small bubbles.
The wiring is old, the switch has one red side, one black. I had forgotten about switches like that!
