    The horse in this RPPC is just magnificant!

    The soldier sits atop a military saddle and appears to have crossed cannon insignia (Artillery).

    The image is an AZO postcard and dates from just before WW1.

      wouldn't you like to see her show up in your back yard -- just an outstanding mare -- think of the bloodlines that have come from those genes -- legs that go on and on

      I was quite taken by this image & horse so I showed it to my daughter in law, she breeds paints. She thinks as did I that there is some heavy or draft horse in this fine animals lineage.
