It is certainly not my most precious nor the oldest Micro Mosaic jewelery that I collect. This Micro Mosaic pendant is in my opinion not so old as some of the late 19th early 20th century. But no less beautiful. Especially the different colors are very nice. I could be made from two parts of a bracelet. Do you agree?

Hi Agram, not every piece needs to be precious. I have pieces I wear because I like the color or shape. I found a string of plastic beads at the thrift yesterday. They are probably from the 60/70s. They are just molded plastic but the color! Lemon goodness! I should post them as they are so fun.

AmberRose, you are right, a piece don't need to be precious always. Beeing a collector has a lot of positive, fun and interesting sides but for me one or two drawbacks.
1. I'm getting greedy and 2. I become increasingly critical in a.o. according age and quality .
But sometimes I let my eye luckily still sometimes fall on a piece that is just fun or has a beautiful color.
And that is good one should not be too fanatical. I'm curious about your posting of string with plastic beads.
