I found this today at the local church thrift. I usually visit this store on Thursdays. I saw this little vase sitting in the front window and recognized it as being new. When I got to it I scooped it up for one dollar. The paint is raised, and the vase is in good condition. A few small chips is all. It is at the least hand finished.

The marking I am seeing is:

    IKAROS
    RHODES
    GREECE
    13/3853

Does anyone know more about this company IKAROS? I could not find too much online. Thanks!!!!

Hello. Ikaros pottery it was at Rhodes Greece. all the pottery's were hand made and were made in limited number of pieces. the number you see on the button means that the one you have is the 15th of 382 that were made. you will never find ikaros pottery with over 1000 pieces, so the line you see is 382- in order to avoid to add numbers in the future. the less pieces were made the more valuable are now cause many were broken or lost over the years. more valuable are the one that have a gold around the top. if you bought it for 1 dollar you made a great deal!!! cheers!
