I found this little guy last week, and he's quickly become one of my new favorites. I don't know anything about him, but he has a lot of charm and character! I'd like to take the duct tape off his belly... suggestions?

Welcome to CW , Your Elephant is made of oil cloth which was popular in animals and doll bodies during 40's 50's . You could take duct tape off carefully . I would guess he has a seam that let loose . I might try fabric glue to the seam to keep it closed. he is wonderful and their are collectors for oil cloth animals . Nice Post !!!!!! he is very nice find

I have one very similar except I think mine is leather he has a piece of twine for a tail no plastic eyes and no duct tape. I have looked for 1o years to find anything on him I've even sent inquiries to a few auction houses with no response back. I sure wish I could upload a picture here.....anymore info would be appreciated and long awaited. Thanks so much for the post I was very happy to see it
