'sparking' a new interest

I found this unusual lighter about to be trashed near a dumpster. I has the letters V.S.O.P & words MARTE and MEDAILLON on the one side and a woman's (?) head with a ponytail for the striker... on the back it has 888 & a heart shape above the 888. I'm not sure but I think it may have been a liquor company promotional item?? the picture aren't real good and I apologize for them being up side down but I am really curious to find out about it. I am still searching for info. I think I may have found a new hobby! I love mysteries!
