Beautiful poppies

This is a Limoge France hand painted Coronet piece. It has the artists signature which is Batalne? I am having a hard time making out all the letters. It actually has two marks both are Limoge, one is a crown the other is hard to make out. But it definitely says Limoge. I believe it to be a celery dish, but it is rather large for that. It measures 13 1/2 by 6 1/2. Any more information would be greatly appreciated.
