This is a Limoges France vegetable dish. It it beautifully detailed with roses and plenty of gilding. It measures 11 x 9. The mark on the back is round with Limoges and France on the outer circle and AK CD on the inner part of the circle.
did you get into your grandmother's china cabinet this week -- so many fine pretties your posting -- all remind me of the fine dinners set in the midwest and the beautiful place settings used
This mark was used by Charles L. Dwenger of New York, N.Y. circa 1895-1917. He was a Porcelain Importer and would include the Source/ Manufacturer in the logo on the outside circle. RER (LOUMANAL)
Thank you epson233. No my grandma did not have too many pretties. I have collected just "stuff" for many many years. It's the finding that is sooo much fun. LOL
