Pot metal clock had belonged to my husbands mother but is not working. I do not know anything about it. Any information would be appreciated. It measures 12 1/2 inches tall and 15 inches wide. It has a pendulum and a key to wind it. I did wind it and it ticks for about a minute then stops. It has a stamped mark on the back side behind the bell. It reads Japy Freres around the outside of a circle and in the middle of the circle reads D'or Med
The key says West Germany and also stamped on the back is 888 to the top right of the mechanism and on the bottom on either side it has a 4 on the left and a 4 on the right. The face of the clock measures 3 inches by 3 inches.

In order to help identify your clock, please provide the following:

Any and all information printed, stamped or labeled on the dial, movement, case, pendulum and key. This includes names, trademarks, award stamps/serial/model/patent numbers and dates.

Measurements of the dial and case. Please take measurements at the longest, widest, and deepest points only.

Well lit photos of the entire case, with close-ups of the dial, movement and any distinctive decorative feature(s) or labels.

This information could be very helpful, but it still may not lead to a definitive model or date.

Thank you Bruce99 for your input. I have revised my description to help with identification. I know it may not be enough but better than before.

That could very well be. It was so hard to read the small letters.
