i have what appears to be a vintage tuning fork of some kind and it measures 3 and a half inches long from end to end also the round tips appear to made of bronze.on one of the round parts at the end it has the letters f m on it.i am guessing it's a tuning fork but i am not sure i would appreciate it if someone could let me know what this item really is.if i am wrong and its not a tuning fork please let me know.

Do you think you plug 2 of the plastic looking things in your ears?( No size reference). Maybe for tuning pianos etc.?

there not human plugs because they are very small about the size of a large watch battery or a little smaller than a dime.its three and a half inches long.the round tips appear to be made of bronze.
