A Huon Pine dish belonging to the late Mrs "got her name on it", approx 8ins in diameter and 1in deep. Huon Pine is a Tasmanian soft wood used mainly in boat building and to a lesser extent craft work eg wood turning etc, It has a nice smell to it hard to explain something to do with the oil in it, even after several yrs and being coated with a sealant the odour still comes through. " A bit of useless information"
