Great Grandma's Chair

We have no idea what type of chair this is, or how old, only that it's been in my family for awhile. We have a picture of my Great Grandma sitting it with a handwritten note on the back that says "Mom sitting in Great Grandma's chair." That would mean it once belonged to my Great-Great-Great Grandmather, maybe in the mid-1800's. If anyone knows what kind of chair this is, or any history on the style, my family and I would love to hear it.
