there are 6 of them, made out of plywood. I don't know what it is that would be stored upside down. Just an oddity to figure out!
Does anyone know what these are for? | ||

Coke was once stored upside down but surely doesn't apply here. Maybe wine?
Hi, I looked at several wine sites and they all recommend storing it on its side or tilted up a bit. I don't know anything about wine, prefer bourbon:) It's an oddball item, isn't it? Thanks for your input.
It's an odd-ball specialized thing but can't figure what for. It says "cap", not cork. maybe for California wine? I've actually, jokingly, asked wine drinkers if you are supposed to sniff the screw-off-cap on CA wines in a restaurant? Where I live, CA wine is not real popular. When those cardboard boxes of CA wine came out, they were dubbed, "Chateau l'Box".
