I purchased a "digital" pocketwatch and restored it. I took apart the movement and cleaned it in an ultrasonic cleaner. I oiled it properly and put it together again. Alltough it's a very cheap built movement, it keeps good time.
This one is not a "jump hour" watch, but the hours and minutes run smooth.
The watch was rusted and one spring was not right as you can see in the first picture, so I made a new spring as to see in picture nr 2.
The movement is from Ebosa in Switzerland and is very rare nowadays. I have never seen an second one like this.
Nice job you did. I would have to have a couple of beers before tackling it!
tempusfigit, had to bring this fantastic piece back to top of the "Show & Tell" is such a great and rare styling piece.
