The photos only show the wood base, the seat itself is made from what appears to be plywood bent to form an 'S' shape with metal rods for support and then springs, foam and upholstery. I cannot find any marking on the base or the seat (which is currently being rebuilt/reupholstered). I've been unable to find anything like it on the web, but it appears to be very similar to some of the Mid-century designs by Hans Wegner. Does anyone recognize this chair? I'd love to identify it's origin.
