Could someone please tell me approximately what year this was painted?
I got it out of a bar that had been open since the 1940's. I've had it since 2000. In my research, i have found that Taylor 859's were also stamped with " Made in Mexicco" over to the left of his signature. This is not on here. I also found that all the ones I have seen online have the word "Co" on the green part on the right, just under the cap. This does not. I also found that the F and C are on the bottom of the thermometer on most ones I've seen for sale online. This one has it on the top of the thermometer.
There is no other stamp or codes or anything to say where or when this was painted by Taylor. I don't understand why this one is different. Does anyone know? or can tell me what year or years it would have come from?
    Thanks so Much.

Not an expert on these Patti, but I have one of these also, and I believe they are 1970"s vintage.Likely into late '70's into '80's, as that's when the States talked about adopting the metric system, then pulled the plug on the idea, after Canada already switched. The early thermo's are only in F.

I appreciate the information, I am learning more & more as I research. Yet, all the ones that I have seen for sale on ebay have the F & the C, yet they claim to be from
the 1950's. The difference is that their F & C are painted on the bottom. Still wanting info that anyone out there has, so I can put all the pieces together.
      Thanks so much.
