Found this today at our local Goodwill. At first I thought not another Haeger piece ! It's a huge 24" black ceramic figure of a man/father holding a baby while an older child peers out from behind his pant leg. Very appropriate for Father's Day . I'm pretty sure it's not Haeger, but it sure is made in the same style as the dancers I posted this week. Very "Henry Moore" I think. There is a label on the bottom but it only says ASH-40. No idea of the age maybe 70's or 80's might not even be that old. Maybe from the "Mr. Mom" era ! It is broken in the back. A long crack down the man's pant leg and across the back at the base were a large piece was glued back in. Unbelievably it doesn't show that much. I couldn't even photograph it. Here's to all you Dad's out there ! -Mike-

Pretty sure this is just a decorator piece from any one of the numerous Chinese ceramic export companies. I've even seen a copy of the Haeger "dancing couple" piece done in a different finish from China. The label on the bottom looks very Chinese, ink and paper wise as well.
