    Found this today. I like the decanters with silver overlay. I am assuming this turned purple over time. Def. crystal and not glass. I think it would look better if the silver was nice and shiny. Oh well....still nice. Take care everyone!

      They were made in many colors and yes, this one was made in Amethyst (purple) originally. RER
