This is also at my sisters. The two rough wood barns were built in the early 1800s - 1810 and 1832. My sister converted the big yellow barn into an ice cream parlor. It's a very popular destination for many locals. She has chickens, ducks and horses in one of the barns and old-fashioned games, antiques and tables in the other one. They show movies there one night per week too. The big yellow barn was the largest barn in the state for over 50 years - according to local history.
I love old barns, they are becoming a rare site in good condition.
Love the old barn too and glad she is using it :-) great post !*
