I saw this and immediately wanted it ! Until I picked it up and saw the crack in the shoulder. So I put it back. Then I thought so what. The face is fine and they did a pretty good job of gluing it back together. So for $2.99 I figured it was a good deal. I mentioned the damage to the cashier at Salvation Army who I know pretty well by now and she knock off another dollar ! So a $1.99 was a really good deal. It's made by a little known California pottery company called McNee's sometime in the 60's. Not much info online about them either. It has a wood tone finish which really hides the damage unless you look close. I think she has a very "Modigliani" look about her and very 60's ! -Mike-

I did find out one thing about McNee. They had a line of molds probably for craft stores and weekend pottery studios. There are a few things actually made by them for sale online like ash trays and odd figurines but not a lot and definitely nothing like this !
