This was a great find many years ago! This is an Antique Carved Jade Jadeite that measures at least 1.20" and I was told originally part of a necklace or pendant. The mounting is from the Deco Era. This is part of my personal collection......I had an Antique Jewelry specialist take a look at the ring and it was confirmed that it was Antique Jade. The mounting is newer ...Deco.

Your Jewelry specialist was right, it's Jade, not Jadeite.
