Hello Gents and Gentettes. I've been cleaning out my storage, and I came across this among some leather workers tools. I'm not 100% sure if it is for leather working or maybe it just happened to get mixed in. It seems to be adjustable, or possibly can have different size attachments. The only lettering or hallmark is USA (I think) at the working end, and at the hinge bolt there appears to be either a 'B' or '8' with a circle around it. Any ideas? Thanks
Thanks Phil. A spacer is something that I never even thought about. The prongs that come down are blunt, but I'm not sure if that means anything. I can add one more pic, so maybe I can get a pic at a different angle and edit/update this.
Antique shoe button pliers, not sure of the maker. Different styles of these were made for stapling on the buttons of leather shoes, some used a single curled staple others like this a double.
