Unfortunately I have no knowledge of antique glass objects. This carafe was my grandmother and so antique. I think it's very nice especially because of the beautiful decorations. Who can tell me more also an indication of how old this bottle is about?
SEAN68 what a surpruse to see you here again and thanks for your interest also for this glass carafe.
Thankyou Agram.m your very welcome!!! Beautiful!!!
This is an EGERMANN Cut/Etched Glass Carafe. Here is a link that will provide much info. on this Bohemian Company. RER (LOUMANAL)

Loumanal thanks for your interest and your help! I looked at your beautiful pieces and lots of glass. I looked the links also of course. And as I said I have no knowledge of glass. So how are you so certain that this is en Egermann Cut Etched glass carafe? Or otherwise what is so characteristic of this manufacturer that is one of this?
I have had many Ruby, cut to clear, items by Egermann with a very similar etched design like your carafe...especially candlesticks. Here is a link to a Bar set in Ruby Cut to clear, selling on eBay, that is similar in cut pattern as your carafe. BOB

Loumanal, Bob, thanks you very much for all your effort. Indeed I see the similarities in the edged patterns. Very kind of you. If I ever can help or advise you, especially on antique jewelry I hope I can. I wish you a good dag and hope to "meet" you here on CW.
