Today I show you also another etched glass piece. I don't know if this name is right in English but I would call it a glass biscuit jar. Etched with beautiful branches and leaves.
I inherited it from my grandmother and it is a little miracle perfectly in perfect condition as you can see on the photos. My almost 100 years old grandma died in 1978 and also her daughter, my mother has passed away so I cannot ask where this jar came from or what year of factory it was made. Perhaps you could give me a hint or advise???

I also have one very similar, plus another that is blue and has a a white lady with a gold gilt frame. One was my grandmothers the other my great grandmothers. They both died in the 1950s. My great grandmother was from Ireland and was 93 and my grandmother born in New Zealand and 78 when she died. I have no idea where these jars came from but know my mum used to say that if the blue one was not on the mantel piece when they arrived home from school then they all sighed with relief that she had gone!
