Cleaning up on the weekend, I came across this necklace. I have worn it maybe once or twice. I got it from my mom about 10 years ago; it could have been less - I really don't remember. It is still in its original box with the jeweler's name and address on. I always believed it to be costume jewelry. When I looked at it a bit closer, I saw a mark on the clasp. It reads "25" on the moving part. The first part is covered; it could be a "9", making it 925 for silver. However, I am really not sure because I have never seen jewelry marked at this spot.
The "stones" look really nice but I guess they are just glass.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking:)

Thanks, Agram.m.
By the way, the mystery has been solved. I asked my mom and she told me that she got it for herself and it is sterling silver but because she only wears gold, she changed her mind and gave it to me. Well, I like silver, so I guess it worked out at the end.
