Recently purchased an entire huge collection of vintage costume jewelry, only because the price was right, and there looked to be many cool items in the sealed, clear bag. I'll be posting the better items as i get time, but I'm looking for any help/advice you can offer, as I know absolutly nothing about costume jewelry.

I have a similar item but mine has a mirror on the inside top and powder for ladies in the bottom. It has USN and I think an anchor on the outside. Someone here finally told me to remove the powder to find the markings. The one I have was sent home during WWII and was bought at the ships store. I believe my sister has a similar locket from WWII also.
