I found this in my back yard with my new metal detector. (For my Birthday) Can anyone tell me anything about this? There is an arrow pointing down under the A It is small and has what looks to be a Butterfly or something on one of the bendable clamp down pieces. There is also some words on the inside edge that I can not decipher. Thanks for helping.

What a cool piece to find while trying out the birthday gift, way better than a rusty nail!

Why is there only one E?
      Does it actually spell PACE?
    7. musikchoo musikchoo, 11 years ago
The first E is to the left of the arrowhead, under the P. Do you see it?? I am assuming this was all red at one time. What do you think Walk???

Cool thing! First time we used our metal detector all we found was a pull tab from an old beer can.... My wife framed it!

Anybody know what this is ??

The wording inside, does it say Hong Kong?

If it does say Hong Kong, my vote is that it is a gum ball machine ring with the shanks broken off. (One size fits all type)

I don't think it says Hong Kong T.A. It looks to me like a 70's Something from the States, especially with the PEACE jumbled up on the front. Do you have any other suggestions ? I would like to hear them if you do ! This thing has been bugging me for about Three Years !! (:-D)

Looks like Hong Kong to me. It's during this time that novelties were being manufactured there, the precursor to everything being made in China. A child's gum ball machine ring, that's what I see.

      Wow, good work TubeAmp!

You may be right. I see a U in the second word. It could be an O that has worn off the Top. I am going to believe it is a Child's Ring just to get it off my mind !! Thank You T.A. for the help.

Sorry I can't help you there, maybe check at the deed office; it sure would make a great story to find it's owner. ;)
