Vintage Seismograph Magnetic Recorder Type MR-12 Serial 9322 machine made by SIE (Southwestern Industrial Electronics) in Houston Texas. Here is a neat piece of history from the past. I have no idea if the machine works (most likely not). There are several old tubes and other electronic components inside. The machine is made primarily of aluminum. It does come apart into two pieces. The top section must weigh around 300-400 pounds and the lower section with all of the removable trays about 200-300 pounds. I took several pictures of the piece to show the different parts and components.
