This is a set of antique wooden skis, with boots that I found in one of my homes that I own in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. I suspect that they were made in the 1930's. I know nothing about them except what is written on them. (Flexible Flyer) (STBYE Patent) (Splitkein) On both skis there is a number that looks overlapped as if it were double stamped (80782) ??????? Any information would be greatly appreciated !!!!!!!!! Carry on pickers.
Try looking into WWII military cross country ski. If no results, then try military cross country ski, Military ski (Army, Marine Corps ski).
Check this link out for the history of Splitkein.
