A green cherub candle holder which was bought in a local auction sale. This is one of those things which when you are looking at one minute believe that it could be from Victorian days or even earlier and next minute you think it's actually could be a recently made item. We are really curious about this item and wish to find out the age of this item and material it's made of.
The candleholder has a restoration and visible ware to the base which may indicate that the item is old. Also there is some damage in places in a form of small bubbles and some blue substance which could be a part of decoration or a some form of damage.
Material looks like light green milk satin glass, generally non transparent, but the is some transparently can be seen when there is a good light. On touch it feels like something between glass and plastic, its to soft compare to usual glass and to though compare to plastic.
We would be grateful to receive comments or suggestion about this item, please help us to identify the age and material of that unusual candleholder.
